The tops designed as panther heads set with round diamonds weighing approximately 4.10 carats, with cabochon onyx 'spots,' completed by four pear-shaped emerald eyes, suspending tassel pendants set with round diamonds weighing approximately 4.80 carats, topped by onyx rings, signed Cartier, numbered HPS 357, with French workshop and assay marks; pendants detachable.
Condition
In very good condition. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The emeralds are a medium very slightly bluish green, moderately included with some examples of surface-reaching inclusions and cavities throughout, only visible under magnification. Minor loss and damage to two of the onyx segments and some light scratching to other segments commensurate with wear, but otherwise intact. The fringes of the earclips have nice movement. Fitted with posts, length approximately 2 1/2 inches.
