Of geometric design, set with three cabochon emeralds weighing approximately 23.50 carats, accented by numerous old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 24.00 carats, length 7ΒΌ inches; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition, the engraving to the undergallery remaining crisp. The central emerald is slightly sugarloaf in form and presents a high polish; medium green and lightly included with minor surface-reaching inclusions, scratching and minute cavities. The flanking emeralds are slightly bluish green and moderately included with minor to moderate abrasions and surface-reaching inclusions. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety closure. One pin securing the undergallery near the central emerald appears to be a later addition/repair. Mounted in platinum, tongue is white gold with French eagle's head. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 62791 stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant to minor, type: traditional.
