The modified marquise-cut amethyst is a rich medium-deep purple with even color distribution; eye-clean with minute abrasions to the facet junctions and a very small chip to the girdle. The calibré-cut amethysts are medium to medium-deep purple, predominantly eye-clean with 2 examples bearing chips and one lightly included, but this is seen only under close inspection. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity.
