The 11 lapis lazuli drops measuring approximately 38.0 by 10.0 mm to 24.0 by 9.0 mm, suspended from wedge-shaped links decorated with granulation and bordered by double rows of twisted gold wire, interspersed by 12 lapis lazuli cabochons measuring approximately 10.7 to 9. mm, completed by a foxtail link chain, length 15¾ inches, with French import mark; circa 1880.
Condition
In very good condition overall, especially considering age. Heavy abrasions to the backs of two cabochon pendants. The lapis lazuli is a deep blue with some color mottling and flecks of pyrite. Import mark on tongue of clasp.
