Composed of eight panels of fine gold wire work and granulation, terminating at either end in palmette-shaped plaques, gross weight approximately 32 dwts, length 7ΒΌ inches; circa 1875.

Condition

In fair to good condition. Some granulation missing in small areas and a small area of the cannetille is missing on one circular link, noticeable to the naked eye only with close inspection. Highly skilled workmanship and design. Fitted with a safety closure.
