Composed of textured gold links of winged form, suspending 17 carved sapphires, further accented by cabochon rubies and emeralds, length 16ΒΌ inches, signed Gianmaria Buccellati, Italy, numbered D2102; circa 1970.

Condition

In good condition overall, with some discoloration to the texturing of the gold in places. The sapphires are a medium slightly grayish blue color and are semi-opaque, the rubies are a deep brownish red hue and are translucent, and the emeralds are a medium green color, heavily included. Signed and with scratch number 26519 on the clasp. Italian assay and registry mark on clasp tongue. Very flexible, of nice heft and comfortable to wear.
