Designed as a pansy flowerhead, centering a round Fancy Deep Orangy Yellow diamond weighing .36 carat, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 2.90 carats, the petals further decorated with calibré-cut rubies and sapphires, numbered 46119.
Condition
In good condition. The rubies display a lively, medium-deep slightly purplish red hue and are eye-clean. The diamonds are approximately F-G color and VS clarity. The sapphires display a strong blue hue, are eye clean and well matched. Wear to the setting is in the form of slight abrasions to the platinum on the brooch back and some edges, all wear is consistent with age and use and is not visible when worn. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2165678237 stating that the diamond is Fancy Deep Orangy Yellow, Natural Color, I1 clarity. Please note that the center yellow diamond weighs exactly .36 carat as per the GIA certificate as opposed to .40 as stated in the printed catalogue.
