The necklace composed of nine carnelian rings and eight onyx rings, spaced by links set with 17 pyramid-shaped onyx cabochons, length 21¾ inches, signed A. Cipullo and Cartier; the earclips composed of concentric onyx and carnelian rings, topped by two pyramid-shaped onyx cabochons, signed A. Cipullo and Cartier.
Condition
Both pieces in very good condition. NECKLACE: Very minor scratching to the back of the yellow gold links, consistent with use, not visible when worn. Onyx and carnelian disks are in very good condition with no apparent loss or breaks. Translucent carnelian links display brownish orange color displayed evenly with very little banding visible. Necklace has good heft and weight. Length approximately 18 inches. EARCLIPS: Very little wear to the settings with modest abrasions to the gold's surface consistent with age and use. Onyx and carnelian disks are in very good condition with no apparent loss or breaks. Translucent carnelian links display an even brownish orange color. Earclips are not heavy and are easily worn. Length approximately 2 inches.
