Designed as a dancing figure in spotlight, with the shadowed figure behind, the heads composed of round black and white cultured pearls measuring approximately 5.4 and 5.0 mm respectively, the bowties set with round diamonds, signed G. Rowlandson and 'Me and My Shadow, inscribed RLD, numbered GB 081. With signed and fitted presentation box, complete with easel for displaying.

Condition

In very good condition. The metal exhibiting some minor scratching under magnification but it is not noticeable when the brooch is worn. The white pearl has a silvery white body color with soft rose and green overtones, fair luster and some minor wrinkling and dimpling. The black pearl has a silvery dark gray body color with strong aubergine and green overtones and good luster. Length approximately 2 1/2 inches. The fitted box has two attached plaques inscribed "Me and my shadow" and "Designed by Geoff Rowlandson."
