The openwork pictoral strap with floral panels, centering a carved emerald measuring approximately 14.2 by 14.6 by 7.0 mm, set with numerous old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 11.80 carats,  accented by two pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats,  further set with round and pear-shaped rubies weighing approximately 3.15 carats,  decorated with numerous calibré-cut buff-top colored stones, square-cut emeralds, cabochon sapphires and one oval-shaped synthetic ruby, length 6 5/8 inches; circa 1930.

Condition

In good condition overall. Missing a previously attached safety closure. The two pear-shaped diamonds are approximately J-K color and VS-SI clarity. Remainder of the diamonds are approximately G- I color and VS-SI clarity. The fluted emerald bead in the center is heavily included and semi-opaque, but the faceted and buff-top emeralds are a lively medium green and of good clarity. The rubies are a bright medium slightly pinkish red color and are slightly to moderately included, with some surface reaching inclusions, abrasions and scratches to the stones. Sapphires are medium to medium deep blue in color and are slightly included to translucent, with minor abrasions to the facet junctions and apex of the cabochons.
