Centering an emerald-cut rubellite weighing approximately 45.25 carats, flanked by pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.55 carats, size 6¾, signed Piranesi, inscribed '4526.'
Condition
Overall condition of the mounting is very good, metal is polished, numbered 4526. The rubellite is slightly darker in tone than the photo in the catalogue, but richly saturated throughout, with an eye visible inclusion in one corner, but only faint inclusions through the center of the stone, with good polish and symmetry. The diamonds approximately I-J color, I range for clarity. Please note that this ring is signed Piranesi.
