Centering a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 10.36 carats, flanked by two tapered pentagon-shaped diamonds weighing 1.16 carats, size 5¾, stamped S10.36 and D1.16.

Condition

In very good condition. The sapphire is a richly saturated medium-deep slightly violetish blue, lightly included with a few clouds visible under magnification from the pavilion view, also some evidence of dichroism seen when viewed from the ends. The diamonds are approximately I-J color and VS clarity. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 73183 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
