The double-strand necklace of graduated design, composed of 218 near-round natural pearls ranging in size from approximately 8.4 to 2.5 mm, completed by an 18 karat gold clasp, length 19ΒΌ inches.
Condition
In good condition. The round to off-round pearls have a cream to creamy white body color with strong green and moderate rose and blue overtones. Nicely graduated, with good luster and moderate blemishing in the form of pitting, cracking and peeling skins, not evident when worn. The three bead cultured pearls are listed on the certificate as pearl 69 and 86 on the first strand and pearl 95 on the second strand, counting the location from the clasp end. One pearl listed as undeterminable, located on the second strand as pearl 13 from the end of the clasp. Length approximately 20 1/4 inches. A diagram of the individual pearl weights is available upon request. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2165586369 stating that 214 of the pearls are natural, three pearls are bead cultured and one is of undeterminable origin; 217 of the pearls are saltwater, and one pearl is freshwater.
