Centering a square emerald-cut sapphire weighing 28.18 carats, framed by 32 tapered baguette diamonds, size 8, the mounting by Oscar Heyman & Brothers.

Condition
In very good condition. The sapphire is a bright, richly saturated, blue with the velvety look that characterizes quality Kashmir sapphires. It is eye-clean with a few minute nicks to the facet junctions and at one corner by the girdle. For a more complete description of the color and clarity, please refer to AGL report no. CS 59661. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VS clarity. Fitted with an inner sizing band. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59661 stating that the sapphire is of Classic Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating, with an Exceptional Total Quality Integration Rating. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 14030082 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.
