The oval-shaped ruby weighing 4.25 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold, size 6, illustrated unmounted.

Condition

In very good condition. The lively, richly saturated ruby is a medium-deep purplish red, slightly included. Mounted in a simple four prong yellow gold mounting. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59154 stating that the ruby is of Classic Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
