Of garland design centering an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.20 carats, accented by numerous old mine, old European, single and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 10.25 carats, one rose-cut diamond missing; circa 1910; frame detachable. Accompanied by a black satin ribbon for affixing to the coiffure, the clasp set with three rose-cut diamonds; also accompanied by a later-added 14 karat white gold chain for wear as a necklace, chain length 7 inches, necklace length 14 inches. With a fitted box signed Bentley & Skinner, 8 New Bond Street, London.
Condition
In good condition. The diamonds range from approximately H-J color with some lower color examples, predominantly VS-SI clarity. Nice millegrain detailing to the metal throughout. Internal circumference of tiara approximately 7 inches. One diamond missing from top of tiara to the right (facing) of the center section.
