Description

  • Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
  • gold, platinum, diamond, amethyst, turquoise
Centering an oval-shaped amethyst weighing approximately 13.50 carats, flanked by four leaves set with round diamonds weighing approximately .70 carat, further set with two turquoise beads measuring approximately 8.2 and 8.0 mm, size 5½, signed Tiffany Schlumberger, Made in France, with French assay and workshop marks.

Condition

In good condition. The richly saturated amethyst is a medium purple, eye-clean with some very minor abrading to the facet junctions visible only under magnification. The turquoises are a well-matched medium-deep greenish blue with even coloration. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. Signed on applied plaques under the gallery. The workshop mark displays two indistinct letters separated by a spade. Assay and workshop marks are on underside of shank; a significant re-sizing might result in their loss.
