Suspending three step-cut emeralds weighing approximately 16.50 carats, the bottom emerald framed by calibré-cut emeralds, accented with old European, French and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.40 carats, length 21 inches; circa 1930.
Condition
In good condition. The lively emeralds are a medium-deep slightly bluish green, lightly included. The middle stone has two surface-reaching fractures and the top stone has two small surface reaching cavities, none of which are apparent when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The calibré-cut emeralds are decorative in quality. The clasp is set with five small diamonds and fitted with a safety closure. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 58507 stating that the emeralds are of Classic Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 13125231 stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement.
