Pair of Platinum, Diamond and Emerald Earrings, France

Set with two pear-shaped emeralds weighing approximately 11.50 carats, suspended by old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .45 carat, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1925.

In good condition. The emeralds are a richly saturated medium-deep bluish green, moderately included with one emerald exhibiting a surface-reaching fracture that may make it difficult to remount. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The partial maker's mark is on the post and is a horizontal lozenge ending with Fres. Very nice movement when worn. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 58751 A and B stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: minor, type: traditional.
