Centring on a star sapphire weighing 55.12 carats, to a surround set with brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 3.50 carats, mounted in 18 kart yellow gold. Ring size: 6ΒΌ
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GIA report, the star sapphire is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of medium blue colour, displaying a distinct and centred asterism (star effect) upon spot lighting. Under 10x loupe, there are silks and fingerprint inclusions, one tiny feather on side is surface touching. Diamonds are about H to I colours, mostly VS with a few stones of SI clarity.
Condition: Karat yellow gold mount, with signs of wear and minor scratches on the shank, otherwise in good condition.
