Of modular design, the polished gold links decorated at intervals with pavé-set brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 390mm, signed Bulgari, Italian assay and maker's marks.

Condition
Signed Bulgari, dated 1988, mark for Bulgari, maker's mark. Stamped with Italian assay mark for 18 carat gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 14.00 - 16.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 230 grams.

Catalogue Note
The Alveare collection was introduced in 1988 following the great success of the Parantesi collection in 1982. With its distinctive structure, reminiscent of a beehive, it became an instant classic within the Bulgari oeuvre.
