Two garnet and diamond bangles, Michele della Valle

Each set with a garnet, one purplish red, the other greenish blue, within a frame pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, each signed MdV for Michele della Valle.

One signed MdV and numbered 1407, the other with maker's mark MdV. Both stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Brownish red garnet measuring approximately 15.35 x 14.95 x 11.20 mm and calculated to weigh approximately 18.50 carats, the yellowish blue garnet measuring approximately 17.10 x 16.25 x 9.95 mm and calculated to weigh approximately 19.90 carats, both with typical inclusions, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of little wear to the metal. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 55 grams.
