  • Gold, sapphire and diamonds
Claw-set with a cushion-shaped padparadscha sapphire weighing 4.42 carats, between shoulders pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 521/2, French assay mark.

Condition

The revised estimate is 14'500-17'500 CHF / 15'000 - 18'000 US$. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76958, stating that the padparadscha sapphire weighing 4.42 carats and measuring 10.94 x 7.53 x 5.19mm, shows no indications of heating. Also accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 190533, stating that the padparadscha sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indication of thermal enhancement, and GGTL report no. 14-G-7538, stating that the padparadscha sapphire shows no indication of thermal treatment. Maker's mark on outside of shank. Stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Orangy pink sapphire of medium strong saturation, very good transparency, few inclusions, few nicks, chips and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of little wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 8 grams.
