Composed of a graduated line of round and button-shaped natural pearls measuring from approximately 3.40 x 4.05 x 2.90mm to 8.30 x 8.70mm, set within a frame of circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, French assay marks, two small diamonds deficient.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76619, stating that the seventeen pearls were found to be natural, saltwater, with no indications of artificial colour modification. Stamped with French import marks for silver and gold. According to the SSEF report the pearls, weighing from approximately 0.3 carat (1 grain) to 4.2 carats (17 grains), weighing a total of approximately 20 carats (80 grains) and measuring from approximately 3.40 - 4.05 x 2.90 mm to 8.30 - 8.70 mm, are of slightly cream to light cream and light grey body colour, the central pearl of grey body colour, with good skin and lustre, and some minor blemishes, lighter coloured pearls with good lustre and some blemishes. Diamonds bright and lively, two small diamonds deficient. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use, some tarnish. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 20 grams.
