The cushion-shaped ruby set within a millegrain-set border of circular-cut diamonds, size 53, French assay and partial maker's marks, numbered.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76618, stating that the ruby weighing approximately 2.8 carats and measuring approximately 10.40 x 9.00 x 3.35 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.

Partial maker's mark on outside of shank, numbered 7240 and 7604 on inside. Stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Ruby of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, with several cavities on crown and pavilion, additionally some nicks and scratches; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 3 grams.
