Comprising: a brooch of foliate and ribbon design, set with cushion-shaped, single-cut and rose diamonds, and decorated with two natural pearls, one button shaped measuring 8.47 x 8.49 x 7.04mm and one drop shaped measuring 8.20 x 10.00 x 11.50mm; and a pair of matching earrings set with cultured pearl drops, post and hinged back fittings; brooch and one earring each with one small diamond deficient.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76769, stating that the two pearls on the brooch were found to be natural, saltwater.
One ear clip with maker's mark SB. Both ear clips stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report, the slightly baroque drop-shaped natural pearl weighing approximately 26 grains, is of light brown body colour; the button-shaped natural pearl weighing 14.76 grains is of slight cream body colour with rosé and green overtones. The cultured pearls are of slightly cream body colour, all with good lustre and few blemishes; for further information on the natural pearls please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 - 4.00 carats, on average G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting; two small diamonds deficient, one on the brooch and the other on one earring. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 24 grams.
