Description

Designed as a graduated row of natural pearls measuring from approximately 3.30 to 8.50mm, the clasp set with a marquise-shaped diamond, length approximately 480mm, signed Cartier, numbered.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 76876, stating that the eighty-nine pearls were found to be natural, saltwater, together with an insurance document from Cartier, dated 19 November 1936.
Clasp signed Cartier, numbered 915. Safety chain stamped IRID. PLAT. Pearls of light cream to cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, good to very good lustre, few blemishes; for further information on the pearls please refer to the SSEF report. Diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.85 carat, G colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch and safety chain. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 19 grams.
