Sapphire and diamond demi-parure, Elmar Seidler, first half of the 20th century

Comprising: a pair of earrings and a ring decorated to the front and back with intricate metal work and gemstones, millegrain-set with variously cut sapphires and circular- and single-cut diamonds, ring size 54^1/2, unsigned.

Sapphires well saturated with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few with nicks, scratches and abrasions. Largest cabochon sapphire on each earring and ring is of a lighter tone than the smaller sapphires. Diamonds bright and lively. Earrings with hook fittings. Little sign of wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 55 grams.
