Sapphire and diamond ring

Collet-set with a cabochon sapphire stated to weigh 21.93 carats, the shoulders set with heart-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, size 51^1/2, French assay mark.

Stamped with French assay mark and OR 750 for 18 carat gold. Engraved 21.93 referring to the weight of the sapphire, D. 0.67 referring to the total weight of the heart-shaped diamonds and B. 2.06 referring to the total weight of the brilliant-cut diamonds. Sapphire of medium light saturation, with typical inclusions, few nicks and scratches. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as graded in mounting. Signs of little wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 16 grams.
