The lid composed of a chalcedony plaque highlighted with a motif of Indian inspiration decorated with blue enamel, rose diamonds and paste, opening to reveal a mirror and a powder compartment, the sides decorated with alternating lines of blue enamel and gold, measuring approximately 75 x 52 x 12mm, signed Cartier, numbered, gross weight approximately 165 grams.

Condition

Signed Cartier, numbered 2506. Stamped 18K for 18 carat gold. Chalcedony in good condition. Enamel showing minor pits and abrasions. Please note that the top plaque is set with simulated diamonds. Diamonds bright an lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use and age. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 165 grams.
