Condition
Original canvas.
There is minor surface dirt and traces of light staining and surface matter, most noticeable to the white. There are a few very minor areas of fine craquelure, mainly to the white pigment, and only visible upon close inspection. There is also very minor traces of light minor craquelure to the extreme edges of the canvas at the fold. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals isolated traces of fluorescence and old retouchings to the extreme bottom edges of the white pigment, with a few further minor traces appearing elsewhere to the white pigment.
Housed behind glass in a thin white wooden frame, float-mounted against a white card.
