Condition
Original canvas. There is a still life composition executed on the reverse.
There is minor surface dirt and traces of surface matter, with a few specks of minor staining to the sky and very slight traces of loss to one or two of the raised tips of impasto. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the materials and does not suggest retouching.
Housed in a thick white wooden frame.
