Condition
Unexamined out of frame.
Original canvas.
There is a very minor possible previous framing abrasion visible to the extreme bottom right hand edge, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence and possible retouchings to the centre of the right hand side of the composition, as well as in further isolated intervals.
Housed behind glass in a thick, ornate wooden and gilt frame. Unexamined out of frame.
