Condition

Original canvas. There is very minor surface dirt and dust to the crevices, with very slight loss to one of two of the raised tips of impasto, only visible upon very close inspection. There are areas of fine craquelure to some of the thicker white impasto in the bottom centre, with further fine reticulation to the green and brown leaves surrounding the top sunflower, as well as at further isolated intervals to the composition. This excepting the work appears in excellent overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouchings. Housed in a thick gold wooden frame.
