Condition
There is minor surface dirt, with very minor, slight abrasions to the extreme edge, probably in line with a previous framing, and only visible upon very close inspection. There is craquelure to the upper and lower right hand quadrants, most visible to the dark brown pigments in the upper right quadrant, and to a horizontal area towards the lower half.
Ultraviolet light reveals traces of fluorescence and retouchings to the bottom left quadrant, to the orange pigment in the upper left quadrant, with further traces appearing elsewhere and to the extreme edge in line with the aforementioned frame abrasions.
Float-mounted in a thick green painted wooden frame, set within a cream mount.
