  • bronze
the slender pear-shaped body rising to a slightly tapered neck, the exterior bordered with four elongated archaistic cicada leaves detailed with ruyi-shaped motifs against a leiwen ground, flanked by a pair of handles cast in the form of a taotie mask terminating with a small loop, the surface patinated to a dark brown colour

Condition

There are dents to the foot (most severe a shallow 2cm section). General surface wear and scratching, and a bruise to the mouth.
