  • bronze
of archaistic ding form, cast with a compressed globular body rising to a waisted neck and slightly everted rim, all supported on three short tapered feet, the exterior cast with a pair of cartouches enclosing Arabic inscriptions, the rim surmounted by a pair of handles, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande reign mark within a recessed panel, traces of original gilding
