Description

  • 83.5 cm; 67.5 cm
in later parcel-gilt and ebonized frames; five from Vasi, candelabri, cippi, sarcofagi, tripodi, lucerne, ed ornamenti antichi disegn. ed incisi dal. Cav. Batta. Piranesi and two from Diverse maniere d'adornare i cammini ed ogni altra parte degli edifizi by Giovanni Battista Piranesi; one from Suite des Vases by Benigno Bossi and Ennemond-Alexandre Petitot.

Condition

Frames with some wear to both gilded and ebonized decoration. One frame with three of the four gilded corner mounts missing, now with glue residue; some occasional chips. Prints with some light foxing, not extensive, and a few with very minor spot stains. Not examined out of frames.
