Condition

i. This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is affixed to a stretched canvas with tacks along the top and sides edges. The stretched canvas is unlined. There are artist's pinholes intermittently along the perimeter of the work, with a few areas of pulling and minor tears evident, as well as some associated minor cracking to the pigment. There are some stray threads evident along the edges of the pinned canvas. There is evidence of scattered surface soiling. Unframed. ii. This work is in good condition overall. There is surface soiling throughout. The elements are well intact. There are holes in the 4 corners of the base panel, likely due to the artist's working method. There is a minor loss to the base panel at the rear right corner.
