about Jean-Aubry's biographical work on Conrad ("...For that, my dear Aubry, is what unites us, the deep sense of loyalty to Conrad..."), sharing information and discussing  topics including Conrad's translation of a fairy tale called 'The Princess and the Page', John Quinn's sale of manuscripts, Ford's Conrad: A Personal Remembrance ("send me ... short notes on the most flagrant mistatements"), the selection of letters for publication and Garnett's own book of letters by Conrad to him ("...I do not wish to compete with your 'Collected Letters..."), congratulating him on his Life and Letters ("...The effect is as strong as a house: firm in its foundations, of a strong, lasting design..."), c.42 pages, chiefly 4to, 28 autograph envelopes and an envelope with a note by Jean-Aubry, 7 October 1924 to 21 June 1928
