Catalogue Note

Harold Goodburn (1891-1966) taught at the King's School, Canterbury, from 1919 to 1945 and was John Conrad's tutor.

"JC had a very high opinion of Goodburn and he helped me to improve my knowledge considerably, as he had the knack of imparting knowledge and made every subject more interesting than most of the masters I had at school.
