Catalogue Note

Apparently unpublished: not in the Collected Letters. Conrad spent May 1923 in the United States. His stay with Doubleday included one public reading and a tour around New England. Blodgett, who had previously written to Conrad in 1920, was a resident of Oklahoma (Collected Letters, VII, p.12).
