Catalogue Note

Noted by Cagle on page 31, this is referred to as one of the later printings of the first English edition. After the first and second domestic and colonial printings of 1898 it would comprise the fifth printing. The dust-jacket, which features an illustration dated 1910, is an early example of Conrad in dust-jacket.
