Condition
Very good overall condition. The color of the leather is a slightly darker in person than it appears in the catalogue illustration. The leather is likely original and has acquired a beautiful patina. The leather surface with some areas of discoloration, shallow scratches and minor surface staining, consistent with age and gentle use. The seatback and seat with minor surface expected light wear consistent with gentle use. The leather throughout the settee shows a history of sensitive use and care. The wooden surfaces with some light surface scratches and minor scattered abrasions, concentrated to the bottom of the legs, consistent with age and normal use. Some area of light discoloration of the wood, concentrated on the proper right edge of the armrest. A deeply sculptural settee in beautiful condition.
