Condition
Overall good condition. The surface with a few minor irregularities, including minute burst air bubbles, inherent to the material and production. The body of the bird with areas of sensitively undertaken restorations, concentrated around the beak, along the edges and around the tail. With surface dirt concentrated to the recessed contours of the design. The patinated metal feet of the figure with light rubbing. When one views the underside of the sculpture, there appears to be four closed holes that may have been for placement of the legs which was later changed by the artist during the production of the work. This dynamic sculptural form is heightened with a subtle metallic glaze and epitomizes the modernist sculpture by the artist.
