Good overall condition. The marble top with a few light surface scratches and scattered surface dirt, consistent with age and gentle use. The marble surface with a few minor irregularities inherent to the material. The marble top with a sensitively undertaken restoration across the top, visible on catalogue illustration detail p. 24, and with a minute associated loss to the edge. The brass with some light surface scratches and rubbing to the patina, consistent with age and gentle use. Minor surface soiling, consistent with gentle use and with the aging of the material. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful and sculptural design by the artist.
