Condition

Overall in very good condition. The painted brass of the standard is likely later and presents with some surface scratches, consistent with gentle use. The glazed earthenware is in good condition and presents with some light surface scratches and minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use. When examined under black light, the base shows some very minor areas of restoration around the aperture on the underside of the upper curve where the standard passes through. The shade is later and is in very good condition with some light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. A beautiful example of the artist's freeform decorative objects.
