Condition
Overall very good original condition. The patinated bronze surfaces of the standard display a deep and rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, light rubbing, and surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age and gentle use. There are a few minor areas of oxidation to a few scattered recessed areas of the standard. The finial appears original and has a wonderful hammered surface. This lamp has been fitted with a modern paper shade that is well proportioned to the base. The shade with a few minute areas of surface dirt from very gentle handling. A deeply sculptural example of the artist's work with great scale when viewed in person.
