Overall very good original condition. The vase presents with a darker and richer patina than what appears in the catalogue illustration. The body of the vase with a rich brown and green patina throughout, and more consistent in hue than the representation in the catalogue illustration. The vase with scattered minor surface scratches, a few minute surface abrasions and areas of oxidation and surface dirt to the recessed portions of the design. The interior is oxidized throughout from use and with scattered surface residue. The sculpture detail of the handles gives this simple form a more dramatic presence.
