Condition
The First Sweepstakes: Oil on canvas, unlined. The surface has a dirty varnish and surface dirt. There is a small tear in the lower left corner. Abrasions, especially along the lower edge. Under UV light, there are scattered minor old inpaints throughout the sky. Ready to hang.
Spy, The Favorite Jockey: sight: 13 3/4 by 8 3/4 in. (34.9 by 22.2 cm). Not observed out of the frame. Surface dirt, light stain, and a likely acidic mat. Minor rippling to the sheet.
American Eclipse and Sir Archy: each, sight: 8 1/8 by 10 1/8 in. (20.6 by 25.7 cm). Not observed out of the frame. Water and light damage. Sheets are heavily toned with scattered spots of discoloration.
Two Metal Reliefs: the first: 10 by 10 1/4 in. (25.4 by 26 cm); the second: 10 1/4 by 9 3/4 in. (26 by 24.8 cm). Each not observed out of the frame. Appear to be in overall good condition.
